MBA HealthCare Management
International Technological University offers typical coursework in Healthcare Management program, which includes topics such as accounting, marketing, finance, law and management as they relate to the healthcare industry. Qualified healthcare managers are in increasing demand for positions such as Health and Social Service Manager, Patient Accounts Supervisor, Home HealthCare Manager, Health and Safety Manager, Health Information Manager, and Health Services Manager.
Requirements
Upon completion of the MBA degree of Healthcare Management, the students must complete a total of 36 units.
Students pursuing a degree in ITU MBA Healthcare Management program should take at least 18 units of core courses in the Healthcare Management concentration category listed below. In addition they must take a maximum of 18 units combined of the healthcare and of ITU management Elective courses listed below.
Curriculum
The MBA HealthCare Management program builds on the established strength of the management skills to provide expertise in the unique elements and issues of the healthcare industry. ITU healthcare program is well-qualified to respond to the many critical problems now faced by hospitals, government agencies, group practices, pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, insurance and managed care organizations, and consulting firms. HealthCare majors benefit from an interdisciplinary faculty based in the business, medical, and nursing schools.
